Dean learns about a mysterious drowning victim in Wisconsin, all related to a man named Billy Weston. The brothers Sam and Dean come to believe that a spirit is haunting the lake, causing this and other drownings. They discover that Billy and Steve Milton, the local sheriff, were in the Boy Scouts together, along with another child named Peter, who disappeared 35 years ago. Through prescient drawings made by Lucas, the son of the third victim, that Billy and Steve, both long time bullies, accidentally drowned Peter in the lake after school. After Lucas is lured into the lake by Peter and begins to drown, Steve jumps in, begging Peters forgiveness and to spare Lucas’ life. Peter releases Lucas, who is saved by Dean and drowns Steve.
